Antenna Recs don their radiaition-proof gloves with a dip into the Kraftwerk archives: 75 Die Uberholspur documents their journey mid-reconstruction, caught live at Fairfield Halls, Croydon (!) during their 1975 UK run after Autobahn. Still balancing their earlier, more freeform material with the streamlined pulse they'd soon refine, we move from 'Kling Klang' and 'Tanzmusik' to the motorik sprawl of 'Ruckzuck', before a full-length take on inter-Bundeslander banger 'Autobahn'. Broadcast as part of the BBC's In Concert series, it hears Kraftwerk not yet fully encased in the precise, sequenced identity they'd later perfect, and this Croydon performance notably marked one of their earliest UK radio broadcasts, not yet drawing crowds beyond Germany.
